Take the next step in your work on inclusion!
In response to requests from our members, we are now offering, for the first time, Diversity Charter Sweden’s Basic Training in Diversity, Equality and Inclusion – a full-day course designed exclusively for our member organisations. For those of you who wish to gain a solid foundation and practical tools.
The training is led by Gabriella Fägerlind, an adviser at Diversity Charter Sweden, who will expertly guide you through everything from the basics of the Discrimination Act and key concepts to the preventative measures employers are obliged to take. On the importance of taking a holistic approach to change management and defining one’s why. Why do you work on diversity, equality and inclusion?
The basic training course not only provides you with new knowledge – it is also a valuable opportunity to reflect, discuss and exchange experiences with participants from other member organisations. Together, you will inspire one another, gain new perspectives and build valuable contacts for the future.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
- Basic concepts.
- An overview of the Discrimination Act and its link to work on diversity, equality and inclusion.
- Business and operational reasons for prioritising diversity, equality and inclusion.
- What unconscious bias is and how you can minimise its negative impact.
- How to create and maintain an inclusive culture in the workplace.
- What characterises an inclusive recruitment process.
- What characterises an inclusive physical and digital working environment.
