Provides great opportunities for in-depth discussions in small groups and networking with other companies/organisations with similar challenges and conditions.

About our regional member meetings

At our regional meetings, you have the opportunity for in-depth discussions in small groups with representatives from other companies/organisations with similar challenges and conditions. The regional meetings are exclusively physical at a member organisation or at a restaurant. At present, these are organised in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Umeå and Jönköping. Approximately two meetings per semester. 

The regional meetings will, as far as possible, be a continuation of the Fredagskunskap where very good opportunities for in-depth discussion and small group conversations with other members are offered. If you missed the Fredagkunskapen, you can watch it afterwards on our Youtube channel

Host a regional membership meeting

We would like as many of our members as possible to take turns hosting the meetings in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Jönköping and Umeå.
 

Hosting a members' meeting

  1. Start by contacting Sweden's Diversity Charter Secretary General Anna Carlsson Sigstedt.
  2. Make sure you have a local! 
  3. Invitation sent from the Diversity Charter Sweden office.
  4. Ha en uncomplicated Member meeting. Watch a Friday Knowledge together (last Friday of the month from 8.30am to 9.30am) and discuss what was covered afterwards. 
  5. Offer coffee/tea and sandwiches. The Diversity Charter Sweden offers a contribution to the coffee break, or a member can provide the coffee break.

Here you will find ready-made programmes that you can use for your member meetings. Choose the one that suits you best or adjust as needed.

Members' Breakfast and Friday Knowledge

  • 08:00-08:30 Check-in, breakfast mingle, welcome and brief introduction of those present.
  • 08:30-09:30 Watching Friday Knowledge together.
  • 09:30-10:00 Small group discussion on Friday Knowledge - reflect on what you take home and what can be put into action.

Organisation: Members' breakfast

  • 08:30-09:15 Welcome, short information about Diversity Charter Sweden and a summary of member values. Everyone has previously watched the Friday Knowledge. Conversation in small groups.
  • 09:15-09:30 Summarising the day's small group discussions and joint reflection.

Organisation: Members' lunch 

  • 11:30-12:00 Check-in, mingle and lunch.
  • 12:00-12:45 Welcome, brief information about Diversity Charter Sweden and a summary of member values. Everyone has previously watched the Friday Knowledge. Conversation in small groups.
  • 12:45-13:00 Summarising the day's small group discussions and joint reflection.

Organisation: Member coffee / Member afternoon

  • 14:00-14:30 Check-in, mingle and coffee.
  • 14:30-15:15 Welcome, short information about Diversity Charter Sweden and a summary of member values. Everyone has previously watched the Friday Knowledge. Conversation in small groups.
  • 15:15-15:30 Summarising the day's small group discussions and joint reflection.

Key considerations for success:

  • That you are a group of two to three people who together run the regional group.
  • Diversity Charter Sweden is the organiser and the sender.
  • Your main task is to ensure that you create an inclusive meeting where everyone has a voice.
