Provides great opportunities for in-depth discussions in small groups and networking with other companies/organisations with similar challenges and conditions.
About our regional meetings
At our regional meetings, you have great opportunities for in-depth discussions in small groups with representatives from other companies/organisations with similar challenges and conditions. The regional meetings are exclusively physical at a member organisation or at a restaurant. At present, these are organised in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. Approximately two meetings per semester.
The regional meetings will, as far as possible, be a continuation of the Fredagskunskap where very good opportunities for in-depth discussion and small group conversations with other members are offered. If you missed the Fredagkunskapen, you can watch it afterwards on our Youtube channel.
Regional networks
In the regional networks, you will have the opportunity to meet in person for in-depth discussions and further networking digitally.
In Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, regular physical Regional Meetings are held where members are given the opportunity for in-depth discussions and exchanges of experience on previously completed Friday Knowledge.
In addition, there will be opportunities for digital discussions and networking between meetings. This takes place in the LinkedIn groups of the respective regional networks.

Start a regional group
We would like to see the creation of more regional groups to organise meetings, such as those successfully held in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.
To start a regional group, you need
- Contact Diversity Charter Sweden.
- Have a Start-up meeting to explore the possibilities with our Secretary General Anna Carlsson Sigstedt.
- Make sure you have a local! Feel free to rotate hosting among the different members in the locality.
- Send Invitation from the Secretariat.
- Ha en uncomplicated member meeting. Watch a Friday knowledge session together (last Friday of the month, 8:30-9:30) and discuss what was covered afterwards.
- Offer coffee/tea and sandwiches. The Diversity Charter Sweden offers a contribution to the coffee break, or a member can provide the coffee break.
Suggested approach
- 8:00-8:30 Check-in, breakfast mingle, presentation of those who are there.
- 8:30-9:30 a.m. Watching the Friday Knowledge together.
- 9:30-10:00 Discussion in small groups about the Friday knowledge, about what you take home and what could be action.
Alternative approach
- 8:00-8:30 Check-in & breakfast mingle.
- 8:30-9:30 Short info on Diversity Charter Sweden. Everyone has previously watched the Friday Knowledge and only a short summary of member values.
- 9:30-10:00 Discussion in small groups about the Friday knowledge, about what you take home and what could be action.
Key considerations for success
- That you are a group of two to three people running the regional group.
- That Diversity Charter Sweden is the organiser.
- Your main task is to ensure that you create inclusive meetings where everyone has a voice.
