Diversity Charter Sweden is celebrating 15 years - and is launching the Diversity Charter Sweden Awards to recognise concrete efforts that strengthen diversity and inclusion in the workplace. From 28 April 2025, members can nominate candidates for three new awards: innovation, sustainability and a special award focusing on mental health.
- We know that change happens when people dare to lead the way. With the Diversity Charter Sweden Awards, we want to highlight those who show the way and inspire others," says Petra Karmteg, Chair of Diversity Charter Sweden.
The awards are aimed at members of the network and reflect different types of achievements. The category innovative thinking highlights innovative approaches, long-term perspective recognises strategic sustainable work, and the 2025 Special Award focuses on initiatives that promote mental health - this year's theme for European Diversity Month.
Members can nominate themselves or others via a form on awards.diversitycharter.se. Nominations are open until 30 June 2025. Diversity Charter Sweden's Board of Directors acts as a jury and selects three finalists in each category. The winners will be presented at the annual Signatory Event on 22 October.
- "Inclusion often gets less attention than it deserves. By celebrating good examples, we want to shift the focus - from problems to opportunities," says Anna Carlsson Sigstedt, Secretary General of Diversity Charter Sweden.
