Friday Knowledge - Integration as a driver for skills provision
Attracting and retaining the right talent is one of the biggest challenges facing employers today. At the same time, many young people are outside the labour market - with no insight into opportunities or a clear way in.
Inclusion is about the experience of belonging: being listened to, being able to contribute and feeling like a natural part of a community. For employers, it is closely linked to how organisations recruit, manage and create environments that accommodate different perspectives.
At the same time, the conditions for integration are shaped long before someone enters their first workplace. For many young people, the path into working life looks different.
Therefore, the conversation on inclusion also needs to look outwards, towards the opportunities that exist to get a first chance. When people are excluded from education, work and society, it affects not only individuals, but also the labour market's skills supply and the development of society.
In this Friday Knowledge, we meet organisations that work in different ways to strengthen inclusion. Both through how workplaces work internally and through collaborations that open doors for the talents of the future.
