Diversity Charter Sweden

Part of the world's largest official network for and by employers working towards a more inclusive labour market

Diversity and inclusion strengthen decision-making, innovation and competitiveness

For employers, it ultimately comes down to being able to attract, retain and develop a range of skills.

But diversity and inclusion don’t happen by themselves. They require knowledge, guidance and the opportunity to learn from others facing similar challenges. That’s where we come in.

Diversity Charter Sweden is the network for employers who want to turn diversity and inclusion into a real strength within their organisations. We bring together some of Sweden’s best-known companies and organisations to share experiences and drive progress forward together.

Diversity and inclusion aren’t just about ticking a box. They’re about making better decisions, reflecting our customers and society, strengthening our brand and building more competitive businesses. But it’s difficult to do this on your own.

We provide employers with a framework and a platform for exchange. Here, ambition becomes reality: in recruitment, leadership, culture and business.

Diversity Charter Sweden is a network of employers who actually take action – the largest of its kind in the world and part of a wider European network. Please visit The European Commission's platform for the European Diversity Charter.

European Network

Network of 27 Diversity Charters in Europe, organised by the European Commission

European Diversity Charters enable public and private sector organisations across the EU to design and implement effective diversity and inclusion strategies. By signing up to a Charter, organisations make a public commitment to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Charters are organised at national level, with one charter per country. Together, they have over 17,500 signatories covering over 17 million employees.

Once a year, a summit is organised at EU level for Diversity Charter member charters. In addition, the European Commission funds "Exchange Platforms", for the exchange of experience on inclusion in working life from a European perspective, and Diversity Month.
