The Board of Diversity Charter Sweden has appointed Anna Carlsson Sigstedt as Secretary General of Diversity Charter Sweden. She comes from MultiMind Bemanning, where she was Head of Communications.
In Anna Carlsson Sigstedt, Diversity Charter Sweden will have a person who has extensive experience from both the business world and various kinds of non-profit activities. Over the past few years, Anna has worked extensively with diversity and inclusion issues and spread knowledge about the business benefits of diversity. She also has a broad expertise in the various sustainability issues, which is extremely valuable, says Gabriella Wiiala, Chairman of Diversity Charter Sweden, and continues:
- During Anna's time on the Diversity Charter Board, we were able to share her energy and commitment to diversity and inclusion issues, which is a prerequisite for the success of the mission. With Anna at the helm, we will grow our membership and demonstrate even more clearly that diversity and inclusion should be a natural and integral part of every modern business and organisation's strategy.
Anna Carlsson Sigstedt has previously been a fundraising officer for various aid organisations. She has also worked at Systembolaget's subsidiary IQ-initiative, which promotes a smarter approach to alcohol. In her spare time, Anna has worked as a fitness instructor for both children and adults for almost 20 years. Anna has a degree in economics and has studied both in Sweden and the USA.
- I feel humbled and honoured, but above all extremely excited to be able to work wholeheartedly to ensure that more people's skills and experience are used and promoted. Through continuous skills training, I believe that more companies will dare to think in new ways and open up to new opportunities. The companies that succeed in this will be at the forefront of business development. My motto is; Open up, share and take action, says Anna Carlsson Sigstedt, Diversity Charter's new and first Secretary General
