From awareness to action: advancing workplace inclusion through an intersectional approach
How can organisations improve workplace inclusion by taking into account the multiple dimensions of identity – and the forms of discrimination that may arise from them?
The SPEED-FEM project (Sharing Practices for Equity and Empowerment in Diversity with a Female Intersectional Approach) is organising a training and dialogue webinar focused on the importance of adopting Diversity & Inclusion strategies grounded in an intersectional perspective.
Inclusive organisations are more likely to attract and retain top talent, foster creativity, strengthen employee and customer satisfaction, and increase productivity. However, translating these principles into concrete action requires awareness, skills, and practical tools.
What will the webinar cover?
The webinar will include:
- A training session on intersectionality, focusing on its meaning and relevance in workplace contexts
- Presentation of the results from the SPEED-FEM project, including practical tools developed to support organisations
- Sharing of real-life experiences and concrete practices gathered during the implementation of the project
With contributions from the Diversity Charters of Italy and Greece, as well as other project partners, the event provides a space for learning, exchange, and dialogue.
The aim is to promote fairer and more inclusive workplaces that are attentive to the multiple intersections of identity.
