Welcome to the first member meeting of the year in Stockholm - 11 February 2025

Theme: Digital Accessibility and the Accessibility Directive

We look forward to meeting you on Tuesday 11 February, 14:00-16:00 at our member host Handelsbanken. This time we are following the theme "Digital Accessibility". The topic from this year's first Friday Knowledge raised many questions and concerns. When digital tools work for everyone, regardless of ability, new opportunities for participation and engagement open up. This time, the focus is on digital accessibility, and we talk about the new requirements resulting from the Accessibility Directive.

As a member, you will have the opportunity to participate in in-depth discussions in small groups. You will meet other representatives from companies and organisations who share an interest in diversity and inclusion. Together, we will discuss how we can improve accessibility and strengthen our work towards a more inclusive working life.

Programme for the members' meeting

• 14:00 - Check-in and mingle coffee
• 14:30 - Welcome speech by Anna Carlsson Sigstedt, Secretary General of Diversity Charter Sweden.
• Anna Stålberg, Accessibility Manager at Handelsbanken, talks about Handelsbanken's work with accessibility.
• Introduction to the theme "Digital Accessibility - Is your organisation ready for the Accessibility Directive?" by a representative from Funka.
• 14:50 - Small group discussion
• 15:40 - Wrap-up & summarising
• 16:00 - Closure

The theme is always from the latest Friday Knowledge and is available on our Youtube channel. (English subtitles coming soon).
