Friday Knowledge - How can management ensure gender equality in tougher times?

We start this year's Friday Knowledge with the theme How can management ensure gender equality in tougher times? The starting point is the situation many organisations find themselves in today, where issues of equality, diversity and inclusion are increasingly being reconsidered or downgraded in times of financial and organisational pressure.
Against this background, we would particularly like to focus on gender equality in boards and management teams and engage in an in-depth dialogue on what it takes to take responsibility for and stick to these issues even when conditions change. Together, we will explore the choices, priorities and forms of leadership that become crucial in such contexts, and highlight the implications of different priorities for the labour market at large.
