Consultancy for research expert in diversity and inclusion

Diversity Charter Sweden is looking for a self-motivated and research-savvy consultant with solid experience in diversity and inclusion work. The assignment involves developing and compiling relevant research, regulations and knowledge base to support our members - with the aim of establishing Diversity Charter Sweden as a continued credible knowledge resource in Sweden.

About the mission

We offer an assignment where you, as an expert, have the opportunity to make a concrete difference for organisations and companies that want to work more knowledge-based with diversity and inclusion. The assignment takes place remotely.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Develop an overview and synthesis of current and relevant research in:
    • The grounds of discrimination
    • Measuring diversity
    • Inclusive recruitment
    • Inclusive leadership
  • Identify and describe applicable directives, legislation and policy frameworks.
  • Write accessible and user-friendly texts in both Swedish and English.
  • Ensure that knowledge is useful in practice for our member organisations.
  • Contribute to a structure for a digital knowledge bank on our website - accessible only to members.
  • Lay a foundation that can also be used as a basis for debates, seminars and speaking engagements.

We are looking for people who:

  • Har documented research background, preferably with an academic degree of at least Master's level.
  • Has many years of experience in practical diversity and inclusion work.
  • Is a strong writer and can communicate research in a inclusive, concrete and accessible way.
  • Is independent and structured.
  • Har ability to link research to operational and business benefits.
  • Can produce material on both Swedish and English.

📅 Deadline for final delivery: 31 December 2025 for the knowledge bank and ongoing delivery of statistics, review of opinion pieces and other day-to-day needs.

  • You will have access to Diversity Charters Communications Officer (taking up office on 2 June 2025), the Secretary-General and members of the Executive Board.

Background and purpose

Diversity Charter Sweden works to make visible and strengthen diversity and inclusion in the labour market. We want to increase access to scientifically based knowledge for our members, which also reinforces our purpose to be the the obvious source of knowledge in the area.

The future The knowledge bank on our website will make our membership more relevant and useful in the daily work of our members, and give us a stronger position in the public dialogue.
