Nominations are now open for the Diversity Charter Sweden Board of Directors for the Annual General Meeting on 26 March 2026. Nominations will be accepted until 19 December.

As a board member, you are involved in running Sweden's most important network for diversity and inclusion - and at the same time have access to a unique arena for inspiration, influence and development.

Diversity Charter Sweden brings together companies and organisations that want to create an inclusive working life. As a member of the board, you get the chance to influence the direction - both in Sweden and in the EU's large network of over 17,000 member organisations.

Who are you?

Diversity Charter Sweden is in an exciting phase of development. In recent years, both membership and our offering have grown, and next year we will be embarking on a programme of work to shape our continued strategy to take Diversity Charter to the next level.

To this end, we are looking for board members who together can contribute with broad expertise and different perspectives. We particularly welcome those who can contribute in any of the following areas:

  1. Strategy and business or organisational development
  2. Entrepreneurial skills and experience in organisational development
  3. Expertise and experience in running major initiatives in group development or training
  4. Experience in developing co-operation through partnerships
  5. Expertise in economics
  6. Access to networks that can broaden Diversity Charter Sweden's contact area.

When composing the Board, we place great emphasis on obtaining a representation of competences, sectors, company sizes and geographical representation.

Who can apply?

  1. If you are an employee of a member company, you have the opportunity to propose yourself or a candidate to the Nomination Committee.
  2. You have a leading position in the management team or in close connection with the management team.
  3. Only candidates from member companies can hold elected positions on the board.
  4. You can also become a member of the Diversity Charter Sweden and register your company as a member before the annual meeting in order to nominate a candidate.

What is expected of you?

You should expect to spend a minimum of 8 hours a month on board work, plus six board meetings.

Resources
The Board has a full-time Secretary General and a full-time Communications Officer who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation and support the Board in areas such as membership services, communications, event planning and some administration.
