Friday Knowledge: Digital Accessibility - Is your organisation ready for the Accessibility Directive?

What does digital accessibility mean?
Welcome to the first Friday Knowledge of the year! This time, we're focusing on digital accessibility and why it's more important than ever. On 28 June 2025, new legislation will come into force, requiring digital services - such as websites and apps - to be accessible to all users
What can you expect?
Friday Knowledge will provide an overview of the new rules and what it means in terms of creating digital solutions that everyone can use. By participating, you will get inspiration, concrete tools and insights to meet the new digital accessibility requirements.

How digitally accessible is your website?
Funka has conducted an indicative accessibility analysis of member organisations' websites. The analysis is based on the eight WCAG criteria that by law must be met by June 2025. By participating, you will get a clear picture of your website's current accessibility and how it compares to the upcoming legal requirements for digital accessibility.
