It is a day when we reflect on how older people can contribute significantly to the development of society. We recognise the importance of innovative and effective international cooperation to address the challenges of ageing in different countries. We must also recognise the rapid complexity of the world's ageing population and the importance of protecting and promoting the rights of older people.
