{"id":8159,"date":"2023-12-05T16:29:04","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T15:29:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diversitycharter.se\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=8159"},"modified":"2025-11-24T13:29:13","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T12:29:13","slug":"nomineringsstopp-the-european-capitals-of-inclusion-and-diversity-award","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/diversitycharter.se\/en\/event\/nomineringsstopp-the-european-capitals-of-inclusion-and-diversity-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Stop of nominations - The European Capitals of Inclusion and Diversity Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"gridLayout\">\n<div class=\"umb-grid\">\n<div class=\"grid-section\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"col-md-8 column\">\n<div>\n<h2>Calling all diversity and inclusion champions<\/h2>\n<p>The European Capitals of Inclusion and Diversity Award is open to all local authorities in the EU who are building fairer societies by promoting diversity and inclusion in terms of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sex<\/li>\n<li>Racial or ethnic origin<\/li>\n<li>Religion or belief<\/li>\n<li>Disability<\/li>\n<li>Age<\/li>\n<li>LGBTIQ identity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This means your town, city, or region could get the recognition it deserves for building an environment that allows everyone to feel safe and fulfil their potential.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"gridLayout pt-0\">\n<div class=\"umb-grid\">\n<div class=\"grid-section\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"col-md-12 column\">\n<div>\n<h3>Award categories<\/h3>\n<p>There are two main categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Local authorities with less than 50 000 inhabitants<\/li>\n<li>Local authorities with more than 50 000 inhabitants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A specific award will also be given for local authorities enabling safe towns, cities and regions for women in all their diversity, by addressing violence against women.<\/p>\n<p>You can submit your application in any EU official language.<\/p>\n<h3>Deadline<\/h3>\n<p>Applications close on 15 February 2024 12:00 CET.
