Several UN bodies emphasise that human rights and freedoms should apply to every human being, including trans and intersex people, and the main message of the 2030 Agenda is that \u201dno one should be left behind\u201d. The message is clear, but the Swedish labour market is faltering and many LGBTI people cannot be open about their orientation or identity in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latest EU 2020 report shows that it is \"A<a href=\"https:\/\/fra.europa.eu\/en\/publication\/2020\/long-way-go-lgbti-equality-technical-report\">\u00a0long way to go for LGBTI equality<\/a>\u201d(a long way to go until we achieve equality for LGBTI people). 30-35 per cent of trans people report feeling discriminated against in their workplace. Several studies show that the gendered structure, together with the culture, contributes to structural discrimination and harassment for trans and intersex people.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We ask ourselves, how can we achieve equality for LGBTQI people in Swedish workplaces?<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Join us for personal stories from Jamie Gustafsson from Hallstahammar and Robin Koelewijn, Data Scientist, Volvo Cars who identify as transgender.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/katarina-matson-she-her-24984313\/\">Katarina Matson\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>Senior Expert for Culture and Diversity and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jasmin-aronsson-el-kachani-76a7598\/\">Jasmin El Kachani Aronsson<\/a>T<\/strong>alent Management for Culture and Diversity, Volvo Cars takes us through their successes and challenges.
