We are looking for a new communicator

Communicator

Do you want to help develop Diversity Charter Sweden's communicative presence as a communicator? Are you a self-motivated person who can easily express yourself in text and images? As a communicator with us, you will be based in the centre of Stockholm with the privilege of working remotely a few days a week. You will be an important part of a small team and your work has a great impact on how we create commitment to diversity and inclusion in working life.

Your main tasks will be
  • Writing engaging texts and taking photos for social media.
  • Develop and continuously update the website (WordPress).
  • Printing, sending out and managing the invitations in our CRM system (UpSales).
  • Manage, publish and moderate in social media mainly LinkedIn and Instagram/Facebook.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the results of the communication work, and developing the communication plan and other communication templates.
  • Participate in the development of Diversity Charter Sweden's digital presence.
  • Writing and developing the newsletter, presentations and annual report, both text and image layout.
  • Building public opinion with politicians, media and other interest organisations, including by writing press releases, contacting the above and other creative ideas.
  • Contribute to the development of Diversity Charter Sweden by participating in relevant projects.

Your mission
As a communicator at Diversity Charter Sweden, your task is to create commitment to diversity and inclusion in working life and Diversity Charter Sweden as an organisation through our social media and website. The work is mainly operational, but also strategic where you are involved in developing our website, social media and newsletters and other relevant channels. Quite simply, how we can become even better at engaging our members and non-members.

You will continuously develop and create material for our social media, newsletters and have contact with our members.You will report to our Secretary General, who is currently your only colleague. Together you create Diversity Charter Sweden's office, and the idea is that within a few years you will be several colleagues. As a communicator, you are part of the communications team together with parts of the board.

Your profile
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant communications degree or equivalent experience. You have 3-5 years of documented experience as a communicator working with social media, presentations and websites. You are a good stylist and writer and can write in a way that is appropriate for the target audience. You need fluent written skills in Swedish and very good knowledge of English and good experience of image management.

Important qualities for this role are that you are meticulous, structured and solution-oriented, and have a keen interest in developments in digital and inclusive communication. You are used to working in CRM systems. You are curious and a good observer of the world around you, and you are used to delivering on time and on budget.

Last but not least, we believe you have a genuine interest in diversity and inclusion issues.

The Diversity Charter is the world's largest organisation working to increase diversity and inclusion in the workplace and was originally founded in France in 2004. Today, the Diversity Charter is present in 27 countries and has 17,000 member organisations.

Diversity Charter Sweden works for a world where different ideas, knowledge, experiences and competences count, where diversity is a resource. Diversity Charter Sweden has existed since 2010 and has about 150 members.

Form of employment: Permanent with a six-month probationary period.
Scope of the programme: Full time, 40 hours/week
Start: Preferably immediately
